Xenoblade note vol. 4 is here.
A focus on Arts (the techniques used in battle) and classes (the roles characters play in battle) in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
NintendObs Daily. Thursday, June 2.
With less than two months until release, here's a focus on Arts (the techniques used in battle) and classes (the roles characters play in battle) in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Arts come in several forms starting with basic Arts, of whom you can choose three out of five from your character's current class and assign them to the B, X and Y buttons. The A button is reserved for more powerful "Talent Arts" also specific to each class, flashy techniques you've surely seen monopolizing the camera in footage before. Conditions to charge Talent Arts depend on which class category they're under between Attacker, Defender and Healer. As you may know, each of the game's cast of six has their own starting class within these three categories, Noah being a Swordfighter (Attacker) and Mio being a Zephyr (Defender), to use the two protagonists as examples. The other leads also have their classes detailed one-by-one in the original Japanese article.
