Trying the Disgaea 6 Defiance of Destiny demo.
I cannot stand it when games aren't even trying to be the best they can be.

Now I understand why Nintendo's accompanying press release was so short and void with details. I cannot stand it when games aren't even trying to be the best they can be. I mean this is the sixth entry in a decades-old franchise, its first iteration with 3D models, but this is how they're going to celebrate. With a low framerate at the base that you can feel in a game that is so simple and on a console where it releases as an exclusive in the West. You stand on a pillar unless you turn the camera you can't even tell whether you're on the floor or on the pillar. There are characters on my team that look exactly the same with different names, heck, I have a team member that is the exact same character model as the enemies encountered in that first post-tutorial mission. And coming from Fire Emblem, a strategy RPG Disgaea jokingly pretends to threaten, some of the basics are just absent, why is it so hard to attack an enemy that's to the side of me when I'm right there next to them??
