Pokémon Unite has dropped onto Nintendo Switch.
It's a fun game, but it's hard to find it fun.
NintendObs Daily. Wednesday, July 21.
The latest from The Pokémon Company is available on Nintendo Switch starting today. After going under the radars for a while following its announcement as the game topic of Pokémon Presents 6.24.2020 (which somehow is no longer accessible officially on YouTube in any language), Pokémon Unite had its release window set for July this June and its release date just announced last week for this day, July 21. It is or at least attempts to be Pokémon meets League of Legends in a collaboration between The Pokémon Company and the Chinese giant Tencent, developed by their TiMi Studios and lead by Masaaki Hoshino, who left Bandai Namco for The Pokémon Company after being at the helm of Pokkén Tournament, supported by his background on the SoulCalibur fighting game series and a profound commitment to Pokémon games as seen in his #Pokemon20 video.
