On the announcement of Kingdom Hearts IV.
It's pretty machiavellian to promote the future of a series via an audience it may or may not be catered to.
NintendObs Daily. Monday, April 11.
The Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary Event was held on Sunday in Japan, and though a recording of the event will be shared at a later date, the three trailers it featured were compiled in a single video, the first presenting the conclusion of the current Kingdom Hearts title for smartphones, the second revealing the next smart device Kingdom Hearts game expecting a closed beta in 2022 and the third one unveiling Kingdom Hearts IV. Surprisingly enough, no platform was detailed at this time, though such an early announcement with tentative gameplay footage showcasing advanced real-world-looking graphics is indeed implicitly designed as an early commitment to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
