Enters the Nintendo eShop New Year Sale.
The beginning of the year is usually a time of slow, slow news and that's why sales are here to compensate.
NintendObs Daily. Tuesday, January 4.
It's funny, right the day when the European Nintendo eShop's Festive Offers came to an end on December 30, the New Year Sale immediately began. The games aren't necessarily the same, but the savings are still here, now up to 75% off. Here is a first key advice to navigate those. In Europe, the Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers program is still active so if you're already planning to buy an upcoming Nintendo retail release at launch on the Nintendo eShop, comparatively you will not be making any savings in buying a single €59.99 Nintendo title with a discount of 20 euros. Assuming you've readied the budget ahead of time to capitalize on these expected yearly sales, you will effectively save only by purchasing two or more of these big Nintendo releases, which in this case so far are Fire Emblem Three Houses (highly recommend), Yoshi's Crafted World, Arms and Dragon Quest Builders 2 (since in Europe it's published by Nintendo). Else, you can still get any current game you want discounted alongside an upcoming release for the same 20 euros off via the Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers program.
