Nintendo Switch's free and exclusive online multiplayer brawler from GungHo Online Entertainment just received its long-teased anime treatment. Indeed, as a reminder, Ninjala can be played online on Nintendo Switch without needing a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Episode 1 is available now on YouTube for a week, and so will be all the subsequent episodes, so if you're even remotely interested in the franchise I suggest you give it a watch. Named "Ninja Gum Perfected," this is effectively a more complete remake of the CGI animation "Ninjala Episode 0 Ninja-Gum is Born!" that aired before the launch of Ninjala, covering the whereabouts of Burton, Berecca and Ron, with slices in the middle nodding to the five Ninjala 2D cartoon anime episodes and the five other main characters of the game, Van, Lucy, Jane, Kappei and Emma.
