The My Nintendo program evolves with Nintendo Switch Online.
Rewards specifically tailored to customize your presence on Nintendo Switch through new icons and brand-new icon elements.

I was just pondering on the program's utility last week, when Nintendo.com announced the revamping of their storefront to the My Nintendo Store, and now My Nintendo is expanding onto Nintendo Switch consoles. You may remember the fidelity program grants either Gold Points or Platinum Points, the former through purchases on Nintendo Switch to be used for savings on your next buy. However, so far Platinum Points could mainly be obtained through playing smartphone titles published by Nintendo like Animal Crossing Pocket Camp and Fire Emblem Heroes for rewards that are either of value in these games, or quite frankly insignificant outside them such as mobile and desktop backgrounds. Now, missions to obtain Platinum Points also apply to using the paid Nintendo Switch Online service, with rewards specifically tailored to customize your presence on Nintendo Switch through new icons and brand-new icon elements.
