January's first important news to cover from Nintendo across the world is here. With the release of a short trailer on all Nintendo channels, Kirby and the Forgotten Land unveiled more footage and more features along with its worldwide release date of March 25. Two new copy abilities are being introduced in the new title: Drill which copiously takes advantage of the game's 3D environment, and Ranger which has Kirby shooting stars at his enemies and charging stars for full effect. Kirby and the Forgotten Land will be playable in co-op by sharing Joy-Cons, with Player 2 dishing moves as Bandana Waddle Dee. As the story of the game goes, Waddle Dees have been captured by the Beast Pack, lead by bosses like Gorimondo and Tropical Woods, so it's up to Kirby to save them, joined by a curious fairy-like ally called Elfilin. The more Waddle Dees you free, the more they return to the central hub that is Waddle Dee Town, filling it with activities for Kirby to enjoy between rescues.
