How the Japanese Indie World Showcase is better than the Western one.
In Japan, they show you how the game works, in the West, they just sell you the game.
NintendObs Daily. Thursday, April 15.
To be honest, I found the latest Indie World Showcase to be relatively uninteresting. And that's rarely how I feel about a Nintendo livestream. Yet instead of complaining about it, I chose to provide feedback on the one demo it released in hopes the developer would take note for future endeavors. However, a few hours after our Western showcase, the Japanese Indie World released, and this one was actually a lot more fun. There was three games in there that didn't get shown in the West: Metallic Child, which seems like a 3D Mega Man title, Torikichi no Torikicchin, with a simple yet appealing sushi-rolling concept, and Sumire no Sora, starring a young girl and an uprooted flower. It also gave a more in-depth look into Skul The Hero Slayer, Ender Lilies Quietus of the Knights, and Labyrinth City Pierre the Maze Detective.
