Introducing the fifth color of Nintendo Switch Lite.

A new color for Nintendo Switch Lite has just been revealed today: blue, releasing on May 21 specifically on the same day as Miitopia does on Nintendo Switch. Blue marks the fifth color for Nintendo Switch Lite after the initial turquoise, gray and yellow in 2019, and coral which joined the roster in 2020. Meanwhile, the flagship Nintendo Switch hardware has remained black for more than four years now, with only the Nintendo Switch Mario Red & Blue Edition breaking the rules for the Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary. Nintendo really does carry these two systems, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite, as home and handheld consoles, with Nintendo Switch remaining largely the same for ease of inventory and manufacture, while Nintendo Switch Lite offers a palette of variety at a lower pricepoint, consequently more manageable.
