Book VI is here and presenting live PvP in Fire Emblem Heroes.
There is finally a way and a game to play actual Fire Emblem one against another with a lore and context that manages to make it all make sense.
NintendObs Daily. Tuesday, December 7.
That was fast, since the previous Book ended just last week. And that is exciting too. Over the weekend, Fire Emblem Heroes introduced its brand-new yearly story during the latest Feh Channel broadcast, revisiting where it all started in 2017. In Book VI, the Order of Heroes goes back to Askr for another fight against Embla, albeit with a twist. Veronica who used to be the antagonist of Book I is now the damsel in distress players need to save from her kin's antics, driven by hermaphrodite-looking Elm and onee-chan Letizia. On the good guys side, a new flagship character is introduced, Ash, the cutesy lovely retainer to the god Askr. Since Elm on the enemy side is the retainer to Embla, perhaps just like Nifl and Múspell in due time we'll get to encounter the anthropomorphic forms of such two draconic entities important enough to name their own kingdoms.
