Animal Crossing New Horizons's first anniversary update is here.
An Island Tour Creator will launch on March 23 to promote your island, among other neat features.
NintendObs Daily. Thursday, March 18.
As Animal Crossing New Horizons celebrates its first year on the market this Sunday, the game's latest update just released today. Originally only announced to support the Animal Crossing Sanrio Collaboration Pack amiibo cards welcoming Sanrio-inspired characters — Rilla, Marty, Étoile, Chai, Chelsea and Toby you might have met on Nintendo 3DS — to your island, the same update brings a whole slew of nice features in and outside of the game, along with new seasonal items to come. You will now be able to expand your customization options to umbrellas, small flags, uchiwa and photo stands, have access to the Custom Design Portal directly on your NookPhone, and an Island Tour Creator will launch on March 23 to promote your island, among other neat features. Upon a closer look, these will not only benefit players around the world but also companies who use Animal Crossing New Horizons to promote their brands, especially in fashion such as Chiso's wonderful, top-of-the-line kimonos.
